Cheap Chicago City Tickets

Chicago was found in 1833, and in the mid 19th century, it has witnessed a tremendous growth. Today, in terms of GDP, Chicago ranks fourth among the world’s metropolitan areas after Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles.

The Chicago word derived from the the Native American word shikaakwa that means "wild onion" or "wild garlic". And the first to call the site of today city as “Chicagou” was Robert de LaSalle in a written memoir. And the first non-indigenous settler of Chicago was Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, who is referred to as the “Founder of Chicago”.

Harold Washington was the first black elected mayor of the city. And Richard Richard M. Daley was the longest serving mayor in Chicago’s history for he had reached remarkable accomplishments especially on the sustainable development. In 2011, Rahm Emanuel won the competition to mayoral over other five rivals.
